Tim has been in thhe computer industry for 25 years and is finally sick of the stress. He quits his job and buys 50 acres of land in Tasmania as far from humanity as possible. He sees the postman once a week and gets groceries once a month.
After 6 monhs of isolation, he finished deinner when someone knocks on the door.
"Name's Enoch, your neighbour from four miles up the ridge, ...having a party Saturday, .. thought you'd lik to come"
"Great" says Tim "after 6 months of this, I'm ready to meet some local folks, thanks"
As Enoch is leaving he stops, "Gotta tell ya, there's gonna be some drinkin'"
"Not a problem" says Tim "After 25 years in tthe computer business, I can drink wih the best of 'em"
Again he starts to leave and stops, "More 'n' likely gonna be some fighting too"
"Damn" Tim thinks "Tough crowd"
""I get along well with most people so it'll be alright"
Again he starts to leave and "Probably also some wild sex too"
"Well after 6 months alone, I'll definately be there, "
"By the way"? tim says" What shhould I wear?"
"Whatever you want" Says Enoch, "Just gonna be the two of us."
(No disrespect intended to any Tasmanians, its just a stereotype)
