Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes anyway.
sometime ago I responded to a post in the marketplace (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=180401) by Johnskillin regarding the purchase of some timber burl slabs. Communication at the time was good and I ordered some burls. I paid a deposit with the balance to be paid in full prior to delivery of the Burls which I was advised was going to be the 18th of the month "today" If anybody has a mobile contact for Johnskillin can you please pass it on so I can contact him to arrange final payment and for the delivery which is now overdue.
Do not take this post the wrong way I just hope everything is alright with John :) and that my deposit is all good :) and that I get my burl slabs :) before I go on holiday :D
The thread (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=180401) has also been locked so no communication now via the thread either.
Thanks
Tony.

Do you think that maybe he didn't deliver because in your words "balance to be paid in full prior to delivery".
And you then say "arrange final payment and for the delivery which is now overdue".
I'd say your payment is overdue, not the delivery. That doesn't happen until you pay the balance in full.
Anyway, hope it all works out ok and both of you get what you want.

Sorry fly you got it wrong not that it matters :) John was to contact me to arrange a delivery date then final payment would be made then so not my fault. I have tried to contact John via email and here on the forums via pm which I think looking back has screwed up :oo: but no response to email so not my fault here either :2tsup: I want to make the final payment and take delivery of these lovely looking burls but no reply to my email and nothing from John. So reluctant to make any more payments until communications are again established. BiG Shed has indicated that there is a mobile contact so I will try that.
Cheers
Tony.

Still working on it.:2tsup: Spoke with John's partner I think it was, none the wiser at this stage as too when I will get my burls. Sounds like they are having vehicle problems or something so they are going to get back to me Tuesday of next week so hopefully we can get something sorted then.
Cheers
Tony.
