:UG/day from Brit in Brissie
I am 63 and a retired plumbing contractor who has now entered the fascinating and frustrating world of woodworking.Whilst trying to teach myself the computer i discovered utube and fine woodworking and now finding myself totally addicted to anything involving wood shavings or dust or finishes.Ihave been a very keen golfer but this has been replaced by my table saw. The thing i find most confusing is the computer and i seem very slow in learning and understanding all the terminology so i don't know if i will be able to post photos and use the system as much as i would like but i will try.
Ihave to say since i have entered the world of woodworking i have only encountered helpful and friendly people.

Welcome Brit from Brissie :2tsup:
I am sure you are going to enjoy being a part of the forums, and do not let that computer stuff hold you back :) I'm sure given a little time you will learn to master that too !! but plenty of people around here to help you out if you get stuck. You only have to ask around here and someone will be sure to help.
Once again welcome and I look forward to seeing some photos of your work along the way. That is once you master that damn computer
Cheers
Tony.

Welcome brit. Between your woodwork and these forums, there won't be many free hours in your day. Enjoy your retirement.
This (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=168803) might help when you get around to wanting to add some photos to your posts.
