G'day all, just needed to share an example of customer service par excellence'. Got a new dovetail jig a few weeks ago and needed to adapt a couple of cutters to suit, so I went around the local suppliers, and while helpful couldn't help me with a sealed high speed precision bearing i/d 6.35 mm o/d 12.7mm, so searching around the net on Monday I came across a Qld company that specialises in very small bits'n pieces, rang them and was given a part number to order off the net as "mate it'll be quicker that way" was the advice from the sales guy in bris. Well I looked it up on the site and as a bonus it was on special, so ordered 5 bearings and thought "might see them next week if I'm lucky"..............ducked home at lunch yesterday to grab a bite, low and behold they had arrived less than 21 hours after I ordered them from Brisbane to Northern NSW OUTSTANDING Service IMHO.
So if anyone needs little bearings or parts for anything ring these guys as I reckon we need to support anyone who performs this well, the company is Small parts & bearings. they have my business from now on.
