Not been home long (left Blue Mountains this morning in the fog) just got the brother to the train at Kootingal with 3 minutes to spare.
Great to catch up with some older faces and great as usual to match names with faces (why do our imaginations get the faces wrong when we see them in the flesh)
Thanks to Brett and Lola for making us feel so welcome!!! and thanks for another successful day!!
The "catered lunch" is a Master Stroke and works so well
Thanks to all for making my day a good one

Greg, roughed out about half of the little Camphor blocks. Shed smells good!

There are 2 shots of the Fig from Ray as well (No 1 & 11)

All the cut surfaces are now covered with Mobilizer.

They are great Pat, and a good size to work on as well for both of us. I thinkl I'll prepare some more for the Sydney show and for any Sydney turners who would like some
Thanks
Greg

Hope #5 is not too far away ... almost onto my last jar of honey.

ANd of course a 1300km round trip is far more economical than walking down to the local IGA lol

Haven't set a date yet Dave, but likely to be Sept/Oct. Too damn cold before then.

It'll be good to see everyone again and hopefully some new faces - only 2 weeks away now......

Two weeks :oo: . Holy mackerel I better get working. I think I can make it down there. Is it still snowing? We're in stubbies and thongs up here (that's "thongs" plural. I don't want any deviate southerners to get the wrong idea :- .)

I was hoping to bring along some hand saws and back saws for:

1. Show and tell
2. The users (actually, all my saws are users; There's no passengers in this neck of the woods ).Hands on testing on range of woods.
3. A few for sale.

I will post some pix later on. Looking forward to meeting up with old friends (and young friends, although increasingly the young ones outnumber the old ones :? : What's happening?)

Regards
Paul

This, btw, is the previous thread for last March (to which you didn't wear a thong....did you?).
