Wall sconce lights Black walls and Mirrors

So here we are discussing lighting for the lounge room, herself asks me what coloutr I want to pain the East wall and I immediately say "BLACK" in that loud voice. It's going to be the TV wall and the recommended background for optimum viewing is black [ which we do at the moment with an old bedsheet] and her comment was that we won't get effective light from the sconces, So I say " lets put a small mirror behind them then"

Comments please; pretty please?
There are some stunning paint treatments in dark colours out there at the moment and I was thinking of the pearl and flake black I used on my speakers a decade ago
