Hi,

I've been meaning to look for a forum like this for some time. I知 a total newbie when it comes to making stuff out of wood and have only the basic of tools.

In terms of wood making projects, I made a lego table for my kids a little while ago. I've got some build pics here (http://blog.nogi.net/category/misc-diy/lego/). Table was a big hit but limited in size so I知 now needing to make a Lego Table MK2.

This time I want to do a much better job, having it squared and leveled properly will probably help too. 8-) I知 thinking that it won稚 be painted but rather timber stained. As always, this will probably be difficult without the right tools so I might need to grab a new saw or two from Bunnings.

This is a rough sketch of what I was thinking for a mk2 table:

Possibly much more than I am capable of doing though.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "nogi".
There are a heap of members in Brisbane and across S.E. Queensland.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork...
Cheers crowie
