Or hello from Springfield missouri , i think iam a hordeer of wood . Iam a wood turner but i got more logs than 100 people could use . I like to turn large like one meter plus . My friend and helper turns bowls so i slabed some logs to saw out bowl blanks . Now we have stacks of slabs . My small lathe is homade because when i started it was low budget . We have a machine shop /car shop . So its kind of a monster ,mess because i push it tell something brakes then make part heaver . Must work as i haven't lost a ton log off her in months . BIG lathe is and old oliver 22 with extra base and tail stock .
