Howdy all, been floating for the last week or so,

Previous woodwork skills - None (that's why i'm here)
Love the idea of woodwork by hand tools only, in saying that I'm sure to be using modern tools for the benefits. Have an awesome 7m x 7m shed that im trying to clear out and turn it into a workshop for my track bike (GSXR 600) and of course other man cave related hobbies.
First project will be a work bench from pine, Paul sellers work bench is amazing but this one has my eye Build a Work Bench On a Budget - Article: The Family Handyman (http://www.familyhandyman.com/workshop/workbench/build-a-work-bench-on-a-budget). Love that laminated look but more importantly requires a bit more skill then the average ply top, which is all part of the learning curve.
The DIY list looks like this
Work Bench
Shed shelving/storage (Need more room in that shed)
Bike work bench
Dog Kennel
Outdoor table (for the missus)
Sourcing basic tools at the moment, most troublesome being hand planes. Don't want to spend $200 first up, Brand new No 4 Stanley from Bunnings isn't recommended so im sort of stuck. Keeping an eye on Ebay but nothing has caught my eye.
Wish you all a Merry Christmas,
Regards,
Mark
