For anyone that lives on the beautiful NSW Central Coast or any one passing through, stop in at the Gosford art gallery and have a look at the sculptures by John Woulfe. They are in sandstone, stainless steel and timber.
There is a sculpture af a traditional 16ft skiff that is just incredible. The base is sandstone , the boat is jarrah, red cedar and huon andthe sails and rigging in stainless steel. The sail must be over a metre tall. How this guy forms and etches the steel is nothing short of amazing and the wood work astounding.
While your there, take a wander through the japanese gardens and the coffee shop and retaurant are excellent.
