OK you blokes, all that Corby and getting busted stuff is all getting a a bit heavy!

Today I heard of the young bank Johnnie in Sydney who was found by Mr Plod with $250,000 in cash in a bag under his desk. He claimed he had found it in the street, and since he had made no attempt to find the owner was charged with "Larceny by Finding" which I thought was pretty cool really. (Maybe not for him!)

Perhaps to answer SilentC's question on another thread, if the hash he stood on (hypothetically) had stuck to his shoes he could be charged with "Possession by Treading".

Then of course there'd be lots of other opportunities.

Just wondering what else one could be charged with?

Cheers,

P :D

But what would be the penalty?

It couldn't be banishment or we'd all end up out on the naughty step.

We had a PC stolen over a number of weeks, bit by bit. They never caught the guy who did it. That could be "theft by installments" perhaps?

Then there was the guy who was busted taking home toilet rolls. He smuggled a whole carton out roll by roll over a couple of weeks. That could be "grand theft bogroll"?

What about being "charged" with "battery" (groan)?

Maybe Bill Lawry slapped with "excessive nose"...

Prince Charles? Cruelty to animals.

Peter Costello - Lighting up in a "No Smirking" area

Amanda Vanstone - Crack smuggling in her Reg Grundies...

Cheers.............Sean, guilty as charged
