Hi all,
We are starting our renovations and finding that finding a window company to come & quote to replace the windows is like pulling teeth!! They either say they are too busy or those who turn up say they have a 3-4 wk delay on providing the quote!!
So we are thinking "how difficult will it be to restore our current windows?"
Our current windows are white with all having crap, dirt & bugs in the runners, holey fly screen, moved bolts and none have key locks. Some openings are not our preference of opening styles but nothing we can't live with.
We have only received one quote which took 3wks & came in at just sort of $30k for 15 sliding windows, 2 sliding doors & 2 awning windows. (no main external front door). This seemed very steep to us.
Any ideas on how easy it is to renovate these windows?
Thanks
