View Full Version : Romantic evening

A man and woman were having a quiet, romantic dinner in a local
restaurant. They were holding hands and gazing lovingly at each
other.

A nearby waitress was observing them when suddenly the man started
to slide down his chair then under the table. The waitress thought it
was a bit odd and tactfully approached the woman. She said, "Pardon me
but I think your husband just slid under the table".

The woman, with a concerned look on her face replied, "No, he didn't,
my husband just walked in through the door".

Later that evening a man was seen at ER with bruising and sprains, supposedly having slipped off a block of wood while chopping firewood.

Ok, who's been talking !!

I was actually sitting on a block of wood splitting kindling and overbalanced when
reaching for the final few pieces to put in the box.
Four days in hospital with a torn muscle in the wall of the heart, sprained wrist,
bruised elbow and aggravation to a previously cracked rib. Arrived home last night.

Not sure who "Fuzzie" is but must have connections.

"Sturdee" (Peter) - I thought you were a sympathetic type - I was wrong (lol).:lmfao:

I needed your help when I was in hospital mate. Nurse inserted a canula
into my arm that fell apart. I am normally hard to get blood out of but
it went everywhere.

They did see the funny side when I told them to get a bucket and store
it for later to save jabbing more needles in.

Bring a needle into the club this week and let me see if you can do it
properly.
