This house has a screened room on a concrete slab which has been enclosed prior to my purchasing the property. During heavy rains a lot of water seeps in along the side where the outside is higher than the slab floor.
I've had a handy man dig out down to the slab and we could see that the slab wasn't edged properly which would have allowed a lot of water to seep in and this has been repaired. I'm not keen on filling the "ditch" back in with soil and pebbles as this is a high termite area. The outside of the room is clad in what appears to be hardiplank and the structural walls are treated pine.
I think what we need is some sort of ag pipe that can take the water away but the ditch is too deep for what we need or is there a really deep ag pipe out there somewhere?
Has anyone got any suggestions? I can get photos if it helps. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)
