Hi all,
My name is Ian and I haven't worked with wood since high school.
However despite this being a wood working forum I've found the metalwork section to be miles ahead of other sites that Google brings up.
I've recently got into welding and have been getting a lot of great info from here so thought I may as well join up.
Cheers, Ian

G'Day, Welcome to a top forum "Ian".
You show find quite a few fellow members in and around the Hunter region.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork/metalwork.
Cheers, crowie

Cheers mate. I don't own a welder yet but I'm halfway through a tafe course that covers oxy cutting, mig, tig, and stick.(recommend it, it's a good course) and have my eye on a couple.
I'll no doubt be after advice etc once I get one though. I've got a couple of projects in mind once I buy one.

Cheers mate. Still lurking, and still don't have a welder.
TAFE course is going good though.
