Our security gate is made from solid steel bars. The hinges are welded to the frame and positioned so that the gate cannot be removed from the frame - the hinge pins cannot be removed.
The gate has been painted with black paint.
I am trying to attach a perspex sheet to this gate for privacy reasons.
Because the bars are solid, pop rivets will not work.
I have tried to use Selleys Liquid Nails (Clear), but this does not work, no matter how long I clamped the perspex and the gate.
The attached picture shows the edge of the gate.
Any suggestions how I could attach the perspex to the steel gate, would be appreciated.
