Hi. I have some Diggers Casting and Embedding Resin. It doesnt say on the can exactly what sort of resin it is but I'm pretty sure it polyester resin. I'm thinking of using it in one of either two ways:

1. Using it as a filler, sanding back hard, then applying Nitrocellulose type sealer (Wattyl Readiseal) followed by pre-cat n/c lacquer (Wattyl Stylwood).

Or

2. Applying two coats of Readiseal, then the Diggers Resin, then sanding flat, then applying Pre-cat lacquer.

i have a slight preference for option 2 because I have noticed previously that the resin is rather thin and hence seems to soak in a bit too easily to act as much of a filler - but the sealer may stop that.

Will this work. Has anyone done something similar?

Cheers
