Hello!

I have restored a couple of small pieces of furniture over the years and really enjoyed it but having three children and being at uni doesn't leave me much time for such a hobby. :;

I have recently purchased a beautiful Parker dining table from the 1960s that will be the subject of some restoration advice on this forum, but I'll do that in the appropriate area.

And no, I'm not being sarcastic, Canberra IS sunny, most of the time. :D

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Colbralico".
There are quite a few members in and around Canberra..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers crowie

Welcome to the forum. Yeah I was wondering what part of Canberra you were referring to being sunny but then again it would be sunny just colder. :rolleyes:

To keep my mineral water and brie in :)

I just leave the beer on the garage floor next to the table saw ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! :U

DavidG - I am continually trying to convince my kids to wear coats to school by telling them that it's colder outside than in the fridge. Apparently that's not convincing enough. :rolleyes: We breed 'em tough here.
