Could anyone using a mobile device please report any problems they are currently having, especially if they are with anything if the i persuasion (iPad, iPhone, etc)
Looks like there is a problem of some sort with some mobile stuff. Tried it on daughters iPhone and was a pain in the bum. slow, fast, pathetic, stopped, slow, etc.
Tapatalk on my Samsung phone is working but no photo's and some weird spaces in threads, with some posts missing from middle of thread.
Works fine in Full Site mode.
Any info we can get would be really great and help a lot in tracking down the problem or at least finding out if it is wide spread or only a few isolated incidents.

Tapatalk is working better on my iPhone than my work network connection at the moment, but work seems to be having issues, none of the issues you are experiencing.

Just tested on my iPhone 3GS using forum runner, and everything seems to be okay.

Tapatalk was having problems earlier, wouldn't load up. Error indicated that the client may be out of date. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that seems to have worked. Using tapatalk 2 on android.

Hey, thanks for the update. We worked out that'd i'd uploaded an old config file for it when i updated it today. So that was unrelated and my fault
Also i'm hoping the missing posts issue in tapatalk is also fixed with the latest update.

Yes, having heaps of trouble my end last few days. I'm a apple user, safari iMac with ADSL 2+ is incredibly slow. Address bar moves to half way then dies. Accessed the forum via iPad and iPhone both on 3G and LTE network and whilst slightly better, still very slow.
I made a post on the help forum, even submitting that took 3 refreshes just to post. Kept getting error 404 woodwork forums not found

Have there been any recent automatic updates to Safari or iPad?

Not that I know of, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened!
Searching is by far the slowest, followed by replying to a thread. But clicking on links or any of the season terms that eventually do come up, are fine.

The latest major Safari update was September 2012 (IOS 6). You probably should be planning or thinking about the next major update which will be IOS 7 in September 2013.

I deleted TapaTalk from my phone this arve and downloaded the latest version.
Seemed to fix any problems I had and is running pretty fast now. So that seems to have sorted my problems for me.
Earlier today I had posts missing from threads and no pics showing. All is working brilliantly now. I have no idea how long the problems had been around as I have only used the mobile for browsing maybe twice in the last couple of years since putting TapaTalk on.
Anyway upgrading to latest version looks like it might fix all the problems for an android phone (mine's a Samsung). Not sure about iPhones/iPads. But maybe running TapaTalk v4+ might help with some of the problems. Sure made using the forums a heck of a lot easier for me than using the regular browser on the phone.

Hi,
I use my iPad in safari browser and I haven't updated the software for a while so it is probably my end that the problem is, but this is what I see when I try to private message. The icons overlap my text box. I have no trouble when I reply to posts or when I type a new posts.

Does run a little slow but main issue for me (iPad and safari-no tappatalk) is the word/link to the new auction forum is under the search box. Easy fix for me is go to recent posts and someone in marketplace has a "here" link to the auction area,
cheers

We're working on a more compact navigation, had some hold ups with conflicts with the new sections hopefully early next week it'll be completed. Part of the problem is the forum software doesn't play nice with mobile devices.
You should have a little more room on the PM and post reply pages now to.

Thanks for that,
i understand the hassels you might have with mobile devices. And with a new OS for I-stuff coming out soon I'm guessing you will have a lot more trouble?

Hi.
I've been running Tapatalk on both my phone (HTC Velocity 4G) and a generic Android pad for a number of forums for a rear or so.
WWF used to work very well until a few months ago. Since an update back then it 'hangs' on my phone at the "Connecting to server" window and goes no further.
All my other forums still work as they should in Tapatalk (ver 4.4.2). I figured that one of the updates would fix it but it hasn't. I've deleted the WWF link and wiped all the temporary files, then rejoined the forum on Tapatalk - no change. Stays at "connecting to server" and moves no further.
It works fine on the Android pad as well, so the issue is with the phone.
I have no idea what to try next. It is a little nuisance, since I can still read the forum in my browser on the phone, but the layout and size is not nice on a phone - particularly for posting to threads.
Any assistance will be appreciated!

G'day Joe - We are running the latest upgraded version of Tapatalk and having no issues that we know of other than yours, so as you say it may be a problem with your phone. Tapatalk has thrown up more problems than anything else for us and some don't seem to to be able to be worked around. Most forums don't update to new versions, so many people don't see the faults that can arise. Many forums are still running on versions that have been extinct for a number of years. We choose to go with the times and upgrade when ever we are told there is an update available.
Try using the vBulletin Mobile skin it should come on automatically if you don't load the forums via Tapatalk. If not it can be found in the Quick Style drop-down towards the bottom of any page (left side). Listed under "Default Mobile Style". In some respects it's better than Tapatalk, in others it's on a par. Worth a try though.
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers - Neil :U

Sometime today, Tapatalk has started to play up for me. I first noticed it on my new Android tablet using Tapatalk Pro but can confirm the same error msg on my older tablet using Tapatalk (an older version).
I have been using Tapatalk Pro and the new tablet for the last day without any noticeable issue until a few hours ago.
The error msg looks server-side. It appears when trying to access wwf from my tapatalk list of visited or accessed forums.
It reads: Package file version doesnt match with the installed version. please goto your forums AdminCP-Pluginproduct-manage product to upgrade by importing latest installation xml
wording may be a bit diff. difficult to read as it only appears momentarily.
