Hey all,

Names Tim. I'm 22 and in my second year as a qualified cabinet maker specializing in bespoke, fine furniture. I completed my apprenticeship (and still work for) Smith and Gray Furniture Makers (smithandgray.com.au). I've been with them since they started in 2008, so quite a few of the pieces on that website are mine.

I don't do too much woodwork as a hobby. I'm more into the knife making scene (kingsfordknives.com) but I do knock some things together from time to time.

I'm looking forward to learning a thing or two from some of you old fellas and hopefully having a helpful input myself here and there.

Tim.

Welcome Tim. What you'll find in here is not necessarily the correct text book way to do things, but the way to "get the job done" with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of experience. The knowledge store is priceless and unending.

Cheers
Brett

Yeah, I might have a squiz. Haven't been in a couple years because it was less people exhibiting woodwork and just more and more people selling junk.
