My Kitchen Dresser

Bought this old dresser & some time ago stripped & sanded it back.The first picture is sellers photo & given she only wanted ten bucks it was too good a deal to pass on.It stands 5`3" H x 4`3" W & 17" D & sits on steel castors.The painted front moldings & inserts (?) remain to still sand.I collect a lot of kitchenalia so this houses some:

My intention is to clear coat or oil as i like the raw timber look & grain texture. gordon

Gotta be happy with that! Although a tad on the expensive side....

Love the fact that you left the paint on the inside. Ubeaut clear wax would be my choice - I just love the feel and smell of waxed antiques.

Thanks F/furniture.Yeah,nearly sent me broke! Only left the paint in the glass door section.Since these pics i have sanded back the six removeable mushroom shaped inserts/bobbins (for want of the correct word).I have numerous tins of Liddys/others Beeswax & will trial some on the interior shelf.It also had glass knobs on the drawer but somehow or another it didn`t look quite right.In the process i tried some different wood ones (pics) then decided on a pair of period Turner polished aluminium ones which sit nicely with the rest of the hardware. gordon
