Hi my name is Jerry and I am from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. I immigrated to Brisbane in August 2008. I am a qualified carpenter( concrete form work) though I left that type of work immediately after my apprenticeship to get into the finer work of carpentry.it was not until 1989 that I joined a shopfitting company and started doing cabinetmaking, shopfitting, joinery, solid surfacing and aluminium fabrication. Its always been my dream to build model ships as I have the skills to do it instead of been a collector. I have most of the regular carpentry tools and been given a mini band which can be used for scrolling and a flip over ELU drop saw. The ELU is missing the fence and the height adjustment wheel and I am wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get these parts. I happened to stumble onto this forum whilst looking up tools on Gumtree and have not have to much time to peruse the forum yet, but am sure it will be of benefit to me.:U

Welcome to the forum. Take a look around the forum as you will find the sub-forum that you might be able to post questions on the restore of your ELU drop saw.

Currently I would suggest to post it here, GENERAL & SMALL MACHINERY (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f155/)
