Hello.
I recently installed new door jams, doors, arcs, skirts...the whole shebang.
I did a perfect job with the router to fit the hinges in the door and jams (if I do say so myself)...but the issue is....with the hinges rebated into the jam and the door, sitting nicely flush with each surface the gap between the door and the jam is almost non-existent. So when I paint them I reckon they'll rub.
The gaps on top and the handle side are 3mm each and the bottom 10mm so they all worked out perfectly...but the hinge side worries me.
What did I do wrong? How do I fix?
Thanks.
