Hello
My name is Andy and I live in the state of Indiana in the USA. I've had a lifelong interest in woodenboats. I'm landlocked. I belong to a woodcarving here in my hometown. I'm interested in sculpture. I start a steel sculpture class next week at the Indy Art Center in Indianapolis, IN. Look forward to learn and share. Andy

G'Day, Welcome "to the Great South Land" & to a top forum "Andy".
We have a few blokes from USA on the forum; even Indiana...
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork/carving.
You could always come to Alice Springs in the centre of Australia as they have dry river bed racers with people powered boats..
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

Welcome Andy. I live in New Zealand which is the exact opposite of land locked (sea locked?). We live near the beach. All the best with your boat building and woodworking :)
