What a great web site. I was retrenched 5 years ago after nearly 30 years with the same organisation. I was really annoyed for about five minutes. Then I realised I was free to do what I'd always wanted to do. Build a boat. Did a couple of weekend courses over several months and then built a Trailer Sailer in marine ply using the "Stitch and Glue" method. Was a great learning curve. Taught me skills I never thought I'd muster. Looking forward to reading the wealth of info posted by members and hopefully contributing as well.
