I use a iPad in the workshop for all my photos. It is loaded with all my projects which I am keen to post on the forum. However I cant seem to work out how to attach photos using the iPod and the "manage attachments" function.
Any pointers would be great.
Cheers

Firstly welcome to this forum Piers, I'm looking forward to seeing your pics.
What follows is how I would do it. There is always some one else out there with more experience on these things
1. Open a new message
2. Select onto the attachment icon (paper clip)
3. You will be sent to the file upload manager
4. Select the + Add Files icon
5. Select the Choose File
6. Select Choose Existing
7. Select Camera Roll
8. Select photo (s) to paste
9. Select + Upload
Then v UPLOAD- Your pic appears at the bottom in attachments. Do this step as often as required.
10. Select- DONE when ready to post
11. Preview the post, then if all good Select SUBMIT
Hope this works. I would not be without my iPad now that I have one

TT,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately when I get to step 5, I am unable to select "choose file". Are you using an app or accessing the forum using Safari? I am using safari.
Cheers

What version of iOS is your iPad, older versions don't allow access to your photos.

When you say older versions, Does that mean anything older than the current one? I have version 5.1.1 and i wasn't too keen to upgrade just yet, (always seem to have problems with the newest big upgrades until apple irons out the bugs)

Hi Ben
Cannot remember exactly which version they allowed for the photo access, but from my scratchy memory I think it was about 6 or 8 months ago. So I couldn't tell you what version it was, but can say that when Apple bring out an upgrade, I usually upgrade straight away. Can say that I haven't had any probs with the latest upgrade on my iPad, all seems to be go smoothly
