Was called on today to unload a semi trailer that carted these trusses plus a few packs of timber and tin on level ground in the town centre at Warburton and then cart them up to a site up the side of the mountain which had a few sharp bends that even required me to go back and forth a few times just to get around the bend and a very sharp incline for about 200 metres in first gear the whole way up.
Background in pic should give you an idea of slope.

That's an interesting load, huge overhang. How was it for weight- any overload? Lucky it wasn't raining, eh?

Wasn't much weight, probably about the 3000 kilo mark maybe a bit less, trusses were Oregon so not heavy timber. The load of posts, purloins and girts were heavier than the trusses, say about the 5000 kilo mark.
Truck can carry 7500 kilos, so wasn't overloaded at any time, just a bit sticking out the back :B
