Hi all,
New to the forum and joined up as I have a desire to build a wooden boat.
Have always had hobbies to take my mind off my day job and these have mainly been house renovation and car building.
When I finish the current car I'm building, the plan is to make a start on a classic 50's speed boat replica. The next year will be more research than hands on construction, and I hope the forum us useful in that regard.
Regards,
Chris

Welcome Chris,

What type of car are you rebuilding?

I have a retirement project in a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. i call it my retirement project as I think is going to take that long to complete.

Cheers

Shawn

Welcome!
I have no doubt that you will find a wealth of relevant information, and there are quite a few regular contributors in the Perth area who will be able to help you with e.g. sourcing materials etc.
Enjoy the experience...

Thanks for the welcome.
Mach70, the car i'm building is an XB coupe.
Love the older Mustangs. My daily driver is a '65 Fastback.

G'Day, Welcome to a top forum "Chris".
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork/boat building.
Cheers crowie

PS - Sorry I haven't got a car story to tell you about but if I had a lot of spare cash I'd go for a fully restored Eagle Sports E Type Jaguar hardtop from England..... Eagle E-Types & Jaguar E-Types for Sale | E-Type Jaguar, Jaguar E Type, jag e-types, etype (http://www.eaglegb.com/)
