Hi Alan
And welcome to the vault. The vault of highly valuable tips tricks and sound advice. Don't say too load the you are/were a pom though. :U

We have a friend in Tara. She is flooded in again. She lives on her own and breeds working dogs and cats. Tara is very flat and if someone spits into the waterways it floods. She has 2 litters of pups at the moment and a cat who going to drop any hour. The house is only just above flooding. She has water at her front door!! last year when they had floods she was marooned on 3 separate occasions due to the water
We are too far away to help.
But I suppose there would be a number of people in a similar situation.

Just by lurking, reading, and cross-referencing you'll learn an incredible amount, with a diverse range of views, experience and knowledge base to wade through...

Welcome again!
