Just logged into this forum, which I didn't know existed. Although I did suspect that there might have been one here.:-
I have been mostly turning bowls etc but do have some pen kits and blanks waiting patiently. I have used my mandrel to make a few letter openers.
I enjoy a variety of other crafts, including Pottery, Glass and Sculpture amongst other things.:D
I am looking forward to learning from you all.
I got my first lathe about 8 years ago but have never really got involved in doing lots of turning until the last 12 months or so.

Welcome to the forum Bob , as an ex Northampton Shire-ite {glad there is a few extra i`s &e`s in there :oo:} from Isseka ,Kalbarri has to be the jewel of the mid west coast. Now I`m down in the south west and in the proverbial home amongst the gum trees ,"I`m in heaven" .Give us a nudge if your after any south west timbers.
