Hello newbie here. I don't know anything about woodwork, That's why i'm here. I collect clocks and most of the cases are a bit naff. And in the near future would like some advise on restoration and cleaning. :uk2:

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes i intend, not so much restore ( I'm not that capable to restore ) but just to clean up the clock cases, Leaving the patina, removing scratches and fixing broken parts, things like that

As you've already found, you'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
