I seem to be getting a lot of timeouts when trying to connect to this site or upload a new message or reply. Is this happening to others? It's only been recently with me, maybe too much traffic for the server to handle?

Behave or you'll all get sent to time out.

Probably just heavy traffic, we're averaging around 5,500,000 hits a month at the moment and without ADSL it could be a bit slow going from time to time.

A friend was telling me that there have been troubles with the Testra DNS servers for some time, and most ISP's use the Telstra DNS servers for reference, so whe Telstra goes wobbly everyone shakes.

He's waiting for it all to go pearshaped.

Had trouble getting to the site most of today, all good now tho, except I had to actually do some work today rather than roam around the board..

Thanks for the reply Neil, I'm staggered at the number of hits. They must be all logging in to see what i'm saying each day :D :D :D :D

Major problem - Began last night with time outs and finally spat the dummy sometime in the wee small hours of this morning. Been off all day and our computer wiz has been out of touch all day. Looks like he's finally returned from his little holiday and not a minute too soon either..... Yipee.

I reckon there was a heap of woodies out there today suffering massive withdrawal symtoms.

Hopefully all is well again thanks to Steven our puter smarty.
Onya Steve, 3 cheers for you. http://www.ubeaut.biz/party.gif
