I am just wondering if there is someone who can explain to me how to add a photo to a PM that I wish to send. I have no idea how to do this as when I try to add an image they ask for the URL and I am sure there must be an easy way to do this ?

Thanks Ian

If you're trying to attach a pic from your computer's hard drive, you cannot as PM are not setup to attach pics. But if your pics is hosted somewhere on the web, then you just simply submit the address(url) of the pic wherever it is.

Ian,
get a free Photobucket account, or a Flicker account, also free.
Follow their instructions on adding photos to your account with them...photobucket is quite easy.
Once you have that photo posted in say, photobucket, you can run your mouse over the image, and a pop up box appears, with the url listed...simply click on that and the url is copied, go to your PM and left click once where you want the photo to appear in the message, then right click and paste the url.
When you send the message, the receivers computer will open the photo when they open the message.
Same process in posting photos here on the forum.

I just use the forum albums here http://www.woodworkforums.com/members/albums/
And link to the picture in the PM.
