Hi All,
Have a question. Our Mitre10 Cat. has a " Karcher T-Racer Deck & Patio Cleaner ", for $89.
I'm informed that I can only get the 300, as I have 1 of the cheaper Karcher's, that I have had for quite few years now.
With this T-Racer, you have to have a Karcher High Pressure Unit, or it will not work.
So how good are these little workers ???.
I have a fair bit of Black Rubbish with a bit of Yellowy Green Stuff as well, to get rid off our Cement, & it can get Slippery.
Look, My Karcher will take it off quite Successfully, but it takes forever, plus a fair amount of water.
One gets the Guilty Pangs, & trying not to be a Water Wally.
Like I said How Good Are They, + the Price is right.

Hi all again,
Well this is amazing, not one Reply.
Surely someone has One of these " Karcher's ", & could report on it.

My son purchased one a few weeks back to go with a new karcher. He used it on his driveway and said it was great. Have not seen it myself.

I have a driveway/cement cleaner which I attach to my old Karcher 620M.
It works really well but you do need to overlap passes to avoid any streaking of dark and light [dirty and clean] when the concrete dries. This, however, is quite easy as you cover far more ground quickly than with the lance. Was not sure how long the brush around the circumference would last but it certainly appears to be holding up and looks as good as new.
I always liken using the fan or turbo lance as painting the Sydney harbour bridge with a toothbrush - it does work but as has been stated before it takes a long time. The circular cleaner I have came with 2 sets of jets, 1 for low pressure and 1 for high.
Perhaps you should ask for a demo - if they want to sell them surely they should be open to a suggestion of a demo - failing that, perhaps a suggestion of "If it doesn't perform satisfactorily then I can return it."
Regards,
Bob

We bought the little Karcher gurney sprayer a few years back-the cheap $100-ish model.
After less than an a year, the switch died-you couldn't turn it on with any certainty it'll start.
We retruned it under the warranry (2 yrs).
That died just outside the 2 years mark...
I bought another one- for about $182 - a slightly bigger model.
Sadly I misplaced the receipt, but the switch on that model kept failing. I didn't find it & try to return it till 2 months out of the 2 year warranty time. It had been 'going' for 6 months or more.
When I took it back to see about a 'warranty repair', they said 'no' - it had to be booked in before the warranty expiry date.
The results were $162 to repair it, or buy a new one for $180 - $18 more...)
I'm not feeling overly inclined to help them in furure...

Hi All,
About a Demo, I can't really see them ( Local Mitre 10 ) doing that, but I suppose if you don't ask, you wont know.
I will have to look into it.
