For my mind, inflicting pain on cats is probably not a good idea, I've heard somewhere that the body sends out a chemical to which makes the muscle tissue quite chewy.

Years ago I used to shoot and sell rabbits to suplemnt income and while at it eradicate the wild cat problem, a real pain in the butt RAAF officer was an occasional customer and this night I see this cat and thinks to myself, self why not, so I skun and dressed it and flogged it to this bloke (as a bunny) and he asked for more from the area I got that one as the flavour was great, I thought about it but never did repeat the exercise again.
