Hi, I'm looking at adding a sliding door to our rumpus room and the ideal location would be if it could slide into an external wall but I'm just wondering if that is viable or not. I have a stud wall which will presumably be able to accomodate the door if need be but it would mean the door opening the 'wrong' way as far as my wife is concerned.
I've included a picture to show the layout of the walls to give an idea of what I'm working with. I know a swinging door would be the absolute easiest option but as the two other doors in the room leading into the rumpus are sliders then I want to keep them all the same.
