Finishing Pepper Mills

I am currently quoting on a job for a number of pepper mills for a cafe. Given that they will potentially be used every day I would like some suggestions as to type of a quick serviceable finish I could apply.
I usually use Ubeaut's EEE, Shellawax and then Traditional Wax.

I've made a few mills, (just over one hundred) and used a few different finishes.

I've tried brush on lacquer (looks great, didn't hold up), a homemade maloof finish, easy to apply, takes too long to dry but holds up well, a water based clear finish, 3 coats, drys quickly, needs a week to set up before buffing but holds up well. Easiest finish for me was catalized lacquer sprayed on, 3 coats and looks good and holds up in use,I normally sand to 320 grit, apply finish and buff with tripoli, white diamond and carnauba wax .

I perfer the maloof finish and use it when I have lots of time.

NC lacquer is what I would use Russell.

I have used Mirocat PC 3210 and have had no problems, I beleive this also comes in spray cans

As mentioned elsewhere it looks like that I will be using Mirocat. I have used it in the past but did not know how serviceability it would be on items such as pepper mills.
Yes China, it does now come in spray cans, in satin or semi gloss.
