Hi Guys,
I'm trying to stain two bedsides tables to match my bed.
The bed is stained in a colour the bed manufacturer call 'cherry'.
I've followe a recipe that I found here I believe to make my own cherry...It seemed to look good initially but has turned out to be a bit 'orange'.
I'm looking for some advice on how I might proceed to get the stain looking a little closer to the cherry timber colour which is 'browner' than my current attempt.
The recipe I used 2 parts maple, 1 part jarrah - using feast watson prooftint.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
Regards
Warren
