Also checkout the smiles on the kids faces.
I think this piccy is from about 1860/70.
It came into the shop the other day, I did some work on it in Photoshop.

I assume the bloke in the middle is Dad, but where's Mum?
(In a straight-jacket after whelping that lot would be my guess, but perhaps that's a little unkind)...?

They're all smiling because they've just been told there is something other than suet pudding for dinner tonight. :D

I am surprised why no one has said it before this. Looks like it is up to me to keep up the tradition.
They are all smiling because they are waiting for the PANCAKES YAR!
