Hi all,
2 years ago I lost my shed mate to the big C and 8 months ago I lost my other one (sister to the first) to old age. Both were Rhodesian Ridgebacks. The shed hasn't been the same since they've gone. A few weeks ago the Minister for Everything relented and let me seek out a new shed mate. Today I picked her up, a 16 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback. And what a beauty she is. She doesn't even flinch when something noisy is turned on and has made herself comfy on the the sawdust on more than one occasion. The kids adore her.
She cost me the price of a decent lathe but will give me the same amount of pleasure over the years. I'm now considering buying another as they're also good deterrents for would be thieves. She's now passed out with her head under the couch, the result of a very big day.
Haven't got a name yet but I'm thinking of calling her Dusty. What do you reckon?
