Hi all
I am a machinist by trade so metal working should be my thing, but I have always been interested in woodworking so now that I have finally cleaned out the garage and made myself a workshop / man cave :2tsup: I thought it was about time I got myself a new hobby and get into some woodworking.
I am very new to the whole forum thing, but after reading some of the posts here it is clear to me that there are a lot of talented craftspeople here that I can hopefully learn from and later share my achievements with.
I am a bit of a hand tool rat, you know going to the odd garage sale and market to hopefully find some old tools and then bring them back to there former glory, I have also just finished my first project which was to bring back to life an old garden bench that we have had in the garden for around 15 years, it was a bit of a mess but looking good now, I will have to remember to take a lot of before and after pics, like I said I am new at this forum stuff.
Anyway thanks for reading, hopefully I can learn a lot of you guys.
