Can you help me please?
I Log In, with Username and Password, I tick "Remember Me", then Log In,
The site thanks me "Woodenink" for logging in and then redirects me back to the page-
BUT-- it is as if I didn't log in?? the name "Woodenink" doesn't show, the User CP doesn't show, it is as if I had not logged in?? I have no access to my PM's etc. Help please. PS this does not happen on my other computer, only on the particular here with me at work; my work is only a single computer, not on a network, I am using IE 9,. Amos:)

My first thought would be to check that cookies are enabled.

Fred, when I do to the link you posted-it shows that I am logged in, and has my name at the top as it should be, and I can see my User CP and my PM's, however with all my other computers I go directly to the PEN Turning, and my name appears and I have access to USER CP and PM's, this one doesn't allow that direct log in to Pen Site??? Amos:?

Sounds like you have an old bookmark.
Try this WOODTURNING - PEN TURNING - Woodwork Forums (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f69/)
If it works then replace your bookmark with the new one.

Ray - You told us your problems started when you upgraded your computer and you say you don't have a problem on other computers. As I said in the beginning if you chanced you links to wwf from ..com.au to .com and there was still a problem then it would be at your end.
As I said before it appears that a program or setting somewhere on your computer or browser is deleting your cookies You need to find what is deleting them - most likely browser - and set en exempt for woodwork forums cookies.
If you haven't already done it.... The last thing for you to try is to delete your browsers cache. and any forum bookmarks you may have stored then start from scratch by loading the forums via this link Woodwork Forums - Powered by vBulletin (http://www.woodworkforums.com/index.php)
The links below are to wikiHowand will guide you through deleting cache from the following browsers:

It.s pretty obvious the problem is not be with woodwork forums or we would be getting thousands of complaints.
It worked for you before your computer upgrade, it works for you on other computers. It doesn't work on your upgraded computer. Simple deductions says the problem is somewhere in your computer.

Neil thanks but as I have said before Cache is cleared when ever Firefox is closed set to clear everything. I know I have read another thread where someone other than Amos had the same problem as I am having a while back. I am checking settings etc still.
I do agree its in part my PC or settings as I said to when he rang. I'll go through the link on the cookies also and see if that sheds light on my situation. It may even be in Win7 who knows.
Thanks again
