Could I just lodge an observation of this Forum?
Well during my time filling days over the last couple of months I must say that this Forum, with its wide interest base for a start, has to be THE best that I have come across.
Part of the reason is the nearly up to the minute activity of the members. There is always some chatter going on pretty well all the time. Others that I have looked at, although they may have very good and interesting content, don't have members at hand, you will have to wait for some time to get a reply. Also too, the members here display good English and grammar ( my English teachers must have drummed it into me) skills which make reading threads easy and not annoying. One American one I look at in particular, seems to grate against my English teachers seeds that were sown in me.
Also too is a caring nature that responses to peoples questions comes across. It doesn't seem to matter that a question can be as basic as basic it is not ridiculed at all but is dealt with sympathetically leaving the questioner satisfied that they have an answer that will help them. I think its great
Many thanks to Neil that he stuck his neck out a long time ago and adopted the profile for this Forum that is so user friendly in so many ways. Comparing it to some others that are clumsy and hard to navigate and offer photos smaller than a cigarette packet which really don't show much detail
Any way I will not keep you from more interesting stuff than me waffling on
