Hi,

do you know a good supplier for pan head brass screws? Not the phillips head. Just the old single slot type that your screw driver wants to slip out of all the time.

Been told their getting skerse (how do you spell scarse ?..never spelt skairse before). But shorely there's someone that still stocks them.

thanks kindly

Jake

This is an English mob that I get my slotted steel CS screws from (they're getting skerse as well).
They post to AUS and their prices are ok.

SCREWS LINE - Brass Wood Screws Product List - Specialist Fasteners and Fixings at Low Prices (http://www.screwsline.com/brass_wood_screws.php)

They have both round and raised head slotted brass screws.

EDIT : Just had another look at your post, they may not have pan head if that's actually what you needed.

Paddington Hardware in Brisbane have them. Have a look at this thread (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f11/can-you-get-flathead-screws-anymore-148931/#post1453959). Same offer still applies - I'll go and get them and post them if you need me to.
