Hi Guys
just finished veneering two sub speakers with Anegre veneer so far so good now i want to match them to my two floor standing speakers,that are a natural cherry colour,oiled by the looks,what should i use to get this colour and finish will try to load a few photo's agian

I don't know if the Photo's are working yes woring the first is the sub and second is the finish i want

I think you are asking about colouring or staining the first timber to match the second.
Without seeing them slightly better the first as you say is Anegre (the grain looks like Ash or something similar) and the second you note is Cherry.
Can one be made to look like the other, No! Yes you can make them the same colour depending upon the finish that is already applied (you'll have to get through it) and it will take a little trial and error to find the correct depth of stain.
But the two grains are completely different, so there will always be a disparity in what you see.

Yes I'll have to try a few spare peaces out and see how they come out
