I noticed yesterday for some reason I am being logged out :? again this morning 3 times so far.
Then while logged in pics are not showing up in this thread some of which I put up. http://www.woodworkforums.com/f152/monday-night-showntell-91413/index19.html
Oh if I open a new tab from a notification link I have to sign in again even if signed in already.
Using latest Firefox.

Let me guess here, you're logged on to woodworkforums.com but going by the link you've given, you not logged on the woodworkforums.com.au site.
Looks like the auto redirecting that was in place before has stopped working as previously it didn't matter which site you logged into.

Well I thought yesterday I had clicked the magic X by mistake but it occured twice. Then again this morning when clicking on a few email notifications when a new tab opened I am as normally would have happened the new tab is not signed in also.
Then when clicking on a link within a thread where already signed in and a new tab opens for that link again not signed in.
Desn't answer why the photos aren't show in the other thread where I am signed in:?

 The correct url for Woodwork Forums is www.woodworkforums (http://www.woodworkforums.com).com not woodworkforums.com.au which is our old site address and although still sort of there it won't work properly.
Logging into the .com.au site will stuff you up. DON'T DO IT!!! :smack:

Ok no idea how or why  but my saved tab hoe page of Ispy went to the woodworkforumsau format it took 4 goes to clear the matter up including delting the AU out of the saved start up pages.
Then when I was signed in reading Neils post I went to reply and :o I was signed out yet again.
I am also noticing no spell checker but I may not have turned that on as this is :D new machine with all clean installs.
Nothing brought over.
Edited Just checked to see if speel checker was turned on it is and its not functioning at all.

I have been fine for quite some time now. So I guess the site is back to normal or better for at least me. Not that it should make a difference but from the phone as well and all from China.

Well I got sucked into this thread when I saw the heading 'LOGGED OUT'. Here I was thinking about deforestation (and I missed out on some good timber).
You guys are talking about computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are the moderators? Misleading headings
Sincerely

I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 Not a problem.
Sounds like your cookies are being cleared when you log out.
Click on the Firefox tab (top lh side of screen) > Options > Options > Privacy > Make sure cookies are set to accept.
You may also have to do this with your security program or anything else that might delete cookies. However just doing it in FF should fix the problem.
You will need to log out and close FF when it is done, then open it again and log in > click on remember me and just leave when you are finished. DO NOT log out unless you want to clear cookies from you r computer.

Not logging out Neil its when/if I click on a notifiction email it opens up un-signed in even if I am signed in. Also happens if I click on a link to another thread.
Just happened again now opening a notification:roll:.

Did you do what I said in my last post...
Click on the Firefox tab (top lh side of screen) > Options > Options > Privacy > Make sure cookies are set to accept.
If that doesn't fix the problem it will be another security program you are running that is deleting cookies or similar. It isn't the forums, it's at your end.

Didn't need to its set that way.
I do recall another thread regarding similar recently, just remembered that one I'll see if I can locate it.
I have checked all settings and find nothing out of place from normal. Could be another security programe but no idea why as its been used along side now for more than 2 months.
If i find the fix will post it here evgen if its something I have changed unknowingly thats upset the cart.
Neil just noticed at the top of Privacy folder is a new box Tracking "Tell Websites I do not want to be tracked" I have unchecked this now could possibly be the source.
Funny how no one commented on this part of my original post at all

You were answered with the following:

I'm presuming the post in question is #724. The pics are there and there is nothing wrong with your permissions so if problem still it will somehow be at your end not with the forums.
If in the future you need to have someone look at a problem like thy you either need to report the post by clicking on the http://www.woodworkforums.com/images/button2/report.gif on the nav bar above the post or in a case like this then you need to post the exact link to the post in question. The link to the post #724 is: http://www.woodworkforums.com/f152/monday-night-showntell-91413/index19.html#post1426966
You get that link by clicking on the post number then copying the url
Hope this answers the question to your satisfaction.
