An Arab Sheik was admitted to hospital for heart surgery and as a
precaution they needed to store some of his rare type blood.
Luckily a Scotsman was located and willingly donated some of
his blood which was not required. After the surgery the Arab sent
him a new car, a box of diamonds and a wad of money in appreciation.
However a month later the Arab Sheik took ill and had to undergo
further surgery. Again the Scotsman donated blood and it was
used in a transfusion.
The Sheik sent him a "Thank you" card and a Cherry Ripe chocolate
which shocked the Scotsman.
The Scotsman phoned the Sheik and said, "You were not so
generous on the second occasion".
The Sheik replied, "Aye laddie, but I now have Scottish blood
in ma veins".
