View Full Version : Come back the real Ralph

NotRalph
1st February 2005, 03:54 PM
Gentlepersons, I thought I had made it very clear when I started this that I AM NOT RALPH!

I am also certainly NotNotRalph, I think 1 "impostor" is plenty and if my efforts don't meet with your approval I shall disappear immediately. I shall disappear anyway as soon as the original Ralph re-appears. I certainly do not have his skill at setting questions and indeed I have absolutely no desire to take over from him.

I am also certainly NotNotRalph
So you are NotNotRalph or you're not NotNotRalph?

NotRalph,

Your posts are most welcome, educational and fun. It is also fun trying to figure out your real identity. Very tricky customer.

If anyone doesn't like your posts, tell them to go jump politely.

BTW what would happen if you and Ralph met? Would there be an explosion, implosion or just neutral nothing?

Mr Borer, I thank you for your positive support. As to my identity, I am not Mr Christopha, although I have met that gentleman on the UBeaut stand at a woodshow when certain others were wearing aluminium. I would like to say that enjoy the "wrong" answers to my little queries as much as do the correct.

Should I ever be privileged to meet RealRalph then I would go down on bended knee and thank the Lord! And then I would ask him some questions.

Once again in the imortal words of Andrew Denton "BULL" :D

Goodness gracious, that really narrows the field of suspects NotRalph.

As I recall, when I was at the Ubeaut stand wearing a foil hat, there was only one other person wearing a foily. As I do not log onto the BB under the name of NotRalph, then you must be the other person.

And if NotRalph is not Mr Christopha then NotNotRalph must be Mr Christoph. But then again Mr Christoph must be Ralph. Oh no what am I talking about!!!

 :( :(

Ah, speculation gentlemen, I am enjoying your "little arrows in the air", they are falling somewhat short of the butts so far however.
MR Termite, I do NOT appreciate your use of such coarse language, it is most unnecessary. I also repeat that I am not mr Christopha and while that gentleman seemd quite helpful at the time I am not so sure thaT I would like to be taken for him and he would feel the same I am sure.
Mr Borer, I was not wearing aluminium myself but did hear about it whilst at the show.

I guess I won't have a very long international career. :D

On the other hand, I had to use a US Address to log on because the stupid database recognised "other country" but needed a Zip code and US State!!

And if anyone has ever had complaints about this board being slow..........I made two cups of coffee waiting!!

Cheers,

Just a word about "some" forums on the web. They can be thinly veiled setups for spam, advertising and spyware. The fine print can be confusing. Just make sure your spyware program is uptodate.:D

Cheers (making no particular reference to any particular sites;) ) but taking a long time to log on "can" be a bit of a worry...if you know what I mean.

PS Firefox Users - Don't think you are exempt.

Cheers

Maybe if we all joined virtual hands and concentraited on the thought " there's no Ralph like Ralph, there's no Ralph like Ralph" he might come back again?

Then again we could find that we are all still in Oz. ;)

Ok Ive got it, through scientific analyisis, and useing the mostest powerfullest computer know to man.

The RealNotRalph is..................

But first my reasoning.
Only two ppl were wearing foil outside the Ubeaut stand on that fatefull day, Grunt and myself.
Inside the stand were Stoppers, Neil, Neils two kids.

And, ( dadadaaaaaaaa (dramatic music ))
The RealNotRalph..............................Pauline!!

Cheers, Al :p

Well who am I then

I met Neil, Christopha AND Pauline at the Ubeaut stand at a woodshow but there was nobody wearing foil that I recall. Well, nowhere that it could be seen, anyway...

There WAS a chap with a beard nearby though

So what! It would be difficult to find a group of woodworkers where there wasn't a generous representation of men sporting beards.

Perhaps you are suggesting that someone on this BB with a beard was nearby.

I like Al's suggestion of Pauline as it lines up with a comment I heard recently from someone who knows the identity of NotRalph. They were surprised when when they found out. Does this mean it is out of character?

Have most of us blokes assumed NotRalph is a male? Has our sexist thinking blurred our logic?

Why was NotRalph's original birthday in the profile the same as Neil's?

Al, did you ever live in Baker St.?

No, let NotRalph stay. Seeing as we've been dumped by the quizmaster, we need someone to take up the reins. We might even get some questions relevant to Australian woodworkers ;)

Sorry Zed, but I am with Darren on this one. NotRalph has filled a gap left by Ralph and is performing in the role very well.
