The image is (I believe) actually from the L'Erocia (translates to "The Heroic") ride in the tuscany region of Italy. They tried to come up with a way of preserving the 'strada bianchi', or white streets, or us okkers would call them 'gravel roads'. The ride is a 70 - 200k+ ride over largely gravel roads, with the air of a festival, with huge local interest and support. All bikes need to be steel, jerseys woollen, etc. Very cool :cool:. They ran a local version around Noosa this year for the first time, and hopefully I'll make it to the second one :2tsup:

:D Indeed, an indecent obsession. BUT I suspect, on closer inspection it is not a coracle:-, although the size, shape and single oar are at first glance identical. I am about to cover my options.:wink:.

In the pic I posted there is a black and white cat on the far left of the picture in the middle. Look for a yellow square with a black square within it. That cat is immediately to the right and slightly down from that object.

Now that I've seen it how could I have missed it.
What I had seen is a plastic bag with a face like a giant mole. It's just to the right of centre next to a white heater or monitor and a blower.
