For anyone awake at the moment, this link (http://www.lizard-tail.com/isana/tracking/index.html?&target=phobos_grunt) will show he final moments of the Phobos Grunt satellite. Its coming down pretty quick now.

Maybe is a real number, so over water and tides or over land. If I stand outside when it goes over it should drop 2 metres, You watch and check..

No I don't think so. Velocity is also dropping and it has climbed several km over the ocean, so if the tide is that big, someone needs to warn the Atlantic coastlines.:wink: Perhaps there is an eccentricity in the orbit...

Its in the dark and the moons gravity has got a hold of it? Its dark and its got lost, night light has run out of batteries.. Someones poking it with a long stick..

predictions looks to be around 9-10am AEDST Jan 16
